Recently Travel & Leisure published their top 50 destinations to travel to around the world in 2016. Placencia Belize came up on their radar as number #39.

If you have not ever been to Belize, it’s a small country that became independent located in Central America, south of Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, and bordered by Guatemala to the west and south. Formally known as British Honduras, Belize has a stable parliamentary democracy and is a member of the British Commonwealth.
